What you can't hear is all the hissing and growling Ambie was doing. The grey and white is my neighbors cat ( I think). She/he is always hanging around our house which drives Ambie Crazy. She's very territorial.

New Floor

This will be our new Living Room floors and hopefully there'll be enough for the Master Bedroom as well

The Mantle

The Commander's Brag Mantle:

The large painting is the First Submarine the Commander deployed with. He wasn't the Commander back then though...he was the lowly Ensign.
The small model Submarine is actually of a Columbian Submarine he got to accompany a few years ago.
The yellow ribboned Candle Holder, I added last year when he was deployed for 8 months. I light it every time he leaves.
The cute figurine he gave me many years ago.
Behind the figurine you can see part of the NamePlate from his desk when he was XO.

And the latest addition? I just couldn't resist adding this Communist Soviet Union Flask , sent to us from Olga, a young Russian Exchange Student who stayed with us a couple of years ago.
